London Zoo

A unique zoo.
London Zoo is one of the oldest zoos in the world. It has been housed animals since 1828, opening its doors to the public for the first time in 1847. Since then, the number of residents has continued to grow, with more than 750 specimens to date, from the smallest baby monkey to the tallest giraffe.
The zoo is divided into separate areas such as the Aquarium, the walk-through monkey enclosure, a tropical bird walk, a butterfly paradise, a giant tortoise house, the big cat house, the Gorilla Kingdom and so on.
Meet some of the charismatic residents such as Thug the pygmy hippo, Pipsqueak the meerkat, Raja the Komodo dragon and Lucifer the Asian lion. It will easily take you a whole day to see everything.
The zoo’s interior was designed by some of the most famous and illustrious architects, who succeeded in making it an utterly unique place to visit.
