Madame Tussaud's

Waxwork gallery.

This is one of the most famous museums in the world. The famous Madame Tussaud's of London exhibits wax reproductions of historical figures and showbiz celebrities, including Hollywood stars, Bollywood stars and sporting heros, current politicians from all over the world, and cultural and historical figures.

The museum opened in the 18th century and has not stopped growing since. The museum has survived wars and constantly adds new and updated waxworks, in the style of the originals, which are designed to withstand time and never look dated.

There are Madame Tussaud's branches all around the world and although often imitated it is never equalled. A picture taken next to David Beckham, Elton John, Amy Winehouse, Kate Moss or perhaps Prince Harry would be a fun and precious souvenir to take home with you.

Getting there: Tube: Baker Street
