A world renowned tour.
The White Tower of London, better known as the Tower of London, is listed as a UNESCO world heritage monument. The history of this world famous monument is all but glamorous, since it was first designed as a place of imprisonment and torture. This prison housed proven or presumed enemies of the crown, who are all long gone nowadays.
You might shiver as you imagine being imprisoned here… Soliders in parade uniform guard the Tower of London, while the many crows in the surrounding area adds to the oppressive atmosphere. The Tower has also been a fortress, royal palace and gunpowder store.
